Ben is 8!!!

Here is Ben on his baptism day! It really was special to see him all dressed in white!

For his birthday we had water games and lots of friends over.

About Ben:

First of all, he is a FANTASTIC older brother. He is so good at looking after Anna, that he is often checking up on me to make sure I'm watching her. Besides looking out for her safety he fortunately isn't too good or old to play with her and be silly. No one can make that baby laugh like Ben can! Plus he just adores her and appreciates all her girly clothes. They are amazing together.

Ben is a great student in school. He likes to follow rules and please the teacher (like I did) and he is super friendly and funny.

He is currently reading the entire collection of Calvin and Hobbes comics.

Ben's favorite sport is soccer and he is now shooting hoops in our driveway to improve his basketball skills.

Favorite foods include: Pizza, Mac and Cheese, and Ramen. He does have a sweet tooth so he is going to make sure he gets a treat everyday.

Ben has been taking piano lessons for a year.

Favorite shows: Mythbusters, How the States got their Shapes, Imagination Movers and Olivia (which he enjoys with Anna).

Favorite games and toys: Beyblades-new fad of spinning, battling tops which have eclipsed his love of Legos and Battle Ship.

He is getting older and sounding more like a teenager but we love Ben and his big soft heart and are thrilled to have more time with him during the summer!

Anna is 15 months old!

A friend helped us take these darling pictures. Here are some things you should know about Anna:

Words and sounds she says: All done, mama, dada, Ba (for Ben), this, uh-oh, bye-bye, Brd (bird), woof (dog), baba for bottle and something like dper (for diaper).

Anna's favorite foods: pizza, french toast, pancakes, Ramen, bananas and MILK BOTTLES=PURE LOVE.

Anna loves music! She has loved the Ipod since she was 3 months old, she will sing and dance to: O Sole Mio by Il Volo, The Club Can't Handle Me by Flo Rida, and Celebration by Kool & the Gang.

Anna sleeps from about 7 to 7. She started walking at about 14 months and now there is no stopping her. She loves little foot stools to sit on and she carries them around the house to reach things.

Favorite toys: kitchen, piano, balls and Beyblades (Ben's toys, pretty much anything he has, she is interested in).

Personality: Anna is a funny girl, she loves to be goofy especially with her brother. She seems to prefer slap-stick humor like when people make fools of themselves or towels fall off; that kind of thing. She cries if she gets bored so we must keep her entertained and constantly show her new things she hasn't seen before. She is very curious and likes to organize and explore. She helps with laundry and dishes and loves to watch me cook. She loves to give random hugs and cuddles and at bedtime, she get the super joy for a bottle, snuggle and a blanket. She loves water and the bath. And let's not forget her love of cats, dogs and birds.

We just adore this baby girl and are constantly amazed at all she can do at such a young age!
